Wedding Events

Richfield Plantation is the perfect setting for your Southern wedding!

Our historical house has accommodations for your wedding party to use for dressing and changing. Overnight and weekend stays are available as well. The renovated kitchen, with its separate entrance and bathroom, is perfect for catering your reception and/or rehearsal dinner.

The chapel next door - Sheldon Episcopal Chapel - is a beautifully quaint and historical setting that adds the magical touch.

If you'd prefer, you may elect to tie that knot out-of-doors at Sheldon Ruins, the historical remains of Old Sheldon Church, where an alter within the ruins and under the open sky, lends a mystical moment to your special day. Convenient to Sheldon Ruins, Richfield is a perfect location for your reception.

And if you need a place for all of your many guests to stay, we're located within 7 miles of Point South, SC where there are hotels and motels, including Holiday Inn Express and Hampton Inn.

Wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners - informal or formal and just about any other reason you can think of to get family and friends together for good times and eating, are easily accomodated here at Richfield Plantation.

Our modernized kitchen, complete with commercial appliances and separate entrance, is perfect for any caterer to create that unforgetable feast.

We also have plenty of room for dining and having fun. Our outdoor pavilion is equipped with electricity, water and lighting to keep that gathering going after dark.
